In response to John I

John I have to agree with you. The NFC east is weak this year and each team in it has at least six losses. The Eagles need to win out and pray for losses of the Giants and Cowboys. I beleive if we do make playoffs, we will win it all! We have the offensive weapons to do so and hey, Im just believing.

Dead Birds

The Eagles at 3-5 move to 3-6 to a horrible lose to the Cardnals. It was tough to watch before the game even started due to Desean Jackson being benched because he missed a meeting saturday mourning. Also Jeremy Maclin was banged up through out the game leaving the wide reciever posistion to Riley Cooper and Steve Smith who both dropped a couple balls that hit them in the hands. Eagles are now deep in third place for the NFC east and playoffs are looking out of reach.  The one posotive that came from sundays game was Lesean McCoy extended his consecutive TD streak to 9 games which is an eagles record. Congrats Shady.

Eagles Playoffs

Now due to the "Dream Team" being a 1-4 football team, a big question that I would like to know from my fallowers is; what percent chance do the Philadelphia Eagles have in making the NFL playoffs?
I still have faith that we can turn it around and make a run at the playoffs, let me know what you think.

5- Trent Cole- Trent Cole has been an absolute beast on Defense this Year.
4- Asante Samuel - I've loved the way Ansantes played ever since he was A patriot. Now he's  Bird!
3-Lesean Mccoy- Over the past couple years Lesean has improved to become a primetime running back in the NFL. Hes been having a great year in 2011 as well.
2- Desean Jackson-Desean is one of, if not the most, exciting players in the NFL. He quickness aloows him to make very long touchdown receptions, or even returning a kick.
1-Mike Vick- Mick Vick is the most agile and exciting quarterback ever in the NFL. Hes like no other quarterback before him.

Eagles 1-2

The "Dream Team" needs to wake up. I think it's safe to say the hype of the Philadelphia Eagles is gone. What was suppose to be a spectacular season has started off as a 1-2 record. The Eagles picked up their second loss of the season this Sunday against the NFC rival, New York Giants. Once again Mike Vick could not finish the game due to injury. The one thing you need to worry about when having Mike Vick as your quarterback, is injury. And so far it does not look good. Week 2 suffering a concussion, and now week 3 Vick recieved a broken right hand (Non-throwing hand). http://www.athlonsports.com/news/michael-vick-injury-update-broken-hand-out-3-4-weeks. This article explains that the Eagles are in more trouble. They expect Vick to miss a couple weeks, and their hoping Vince Young can get healthy and play. The Eagles have some tough games in the near future with the San Francisco 49'ers, the undefeated Buffolo Bills, and the division rival the Washington Redskins. Hopefully we do not continue this down hill slope were on and get a couple wins. Stay tuned for next week vs. the Niners.

Eagles 1-1

This sunday night the Eagles had their second game of the season against the Atlanta Falcons. It was Mike Vicks first time starting a game against his former team in Atlanta, so this was huge for our new franchise Quarterback. The Falcons in recent seasons hardly ever lost at home meaning this would be  a tough task for the Eagles. Everything looked good for the Eagles in the early goings and they developed themselves a strong lead. Unfortunitly the lead did not last, as Mike Vick was taken out of the game due to a concussion he recieved after colliding helmets with his own teammate. Our number 2 guy, Vince Young is also hurt, so our third string quarterback, Kafka came in to finish the game. Kafka did not pull though as the Falcons gave the Eagles their first lose of the new season. The Eagles are now 1-1 and play the Giants this week. Mike Vick is expected to Play! Tune in next week for the results of this NFC rivalry.
